NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. TERRIBLE SMELL. HARD TO DRY.

Not happy. They smell terrible after a very short period of time, more so than regular synthetic slippers and after washing they take a fair amount of time to dry. When you consider how expensive these are, I would expect a lot more.

Looking at the materials list, large parts of the construction is (in fact) not wool.

On the plus side they are hard wearing, keep their colour and shape (even after washing) and despite being thin are very warm.

They are a bit tight at the start but do flex after a short amount of wearing. CONSIDER GOING A SIZE UP if you really want them BUT I won't be buying them again.

You're right that these aren't a pure wool slipper. They use a merino and recycled polyester blend, which does behave differently to 100% wool, particularly around odour and drying time. The full materials breakdown is listed on the product page.

For best results with washing, we'd recommend a cool wash with a wool-friendly detergent and leaving them to dry flat away from direct heat. This should help with both odour and drying time.

Good slippers, not so good delivery

I ordered the slippers at the same time as a beanie. The slippers arrived (in Australia) within 7-10 days, which I thought was pretty good. They are very light, warm and snug. A half size bigger would have been ideal. Perhaps a little bulkier than I expected and the soles are a bit slippery (no pun intended) on flat surfaces. All things considered, very happy with them. Good value, when discounted 40% to 50% off.

It was pretty disappointing that I had to follow up Isobaa, at least twice, about delivery of the beanie. It finally arrived 2-3 weeks later. Some long story about switching to a new distribution centre. Would make me think twice about ordering again if time is critical.

Perfect, except…

They run a bit small. Not deal breakingingly small, but it’s noticeable. They pack down great, like a pair of worn out flip-flops. And seem equally at home at a hotel as they do on the porch or at camp. As long as they don’t get wet.

Really Bad Fit

The back of these slippers doesn't ride up high enough to fit snuggly around the heel of your foot so they don't stay on. There was an elastic ban to help hold them on at the back but that came apart in the first week I was wearing them.

Yes, you can machine wash them at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — avoid tumble drying, ironing, or dry cleaning.

These slippers wouldn’t be classed as barefoot due to the slightly narrower toe box and cushioned sole, which somewhat restrict natural foot movement typical of barefoot footwear.
