I have converted from Falke Ski Socks to Isobaa. I get incredibly cold feet and when I am not wearing my electric heated socks these are a total winner - I’m even starting to think they keep my feet warmer than my electric socks - and have been told by a surgeon friend that merino will circulate the air better so keeps you warmer - I’m sold.

These socks fitted really well, I had a new pair of ski boots and these socks were warm on cold days and cool later in the season. No rucking up, they fitted perfectly from the start.

I'm looking for thin light ski socks. Would those be it?

They're mid-weight, so not exactly light. They're a bit thicker and more cushioned than a true light ski sock.

The socks are really great for skiing but I have not seen caring instructions. Can they be washed at 40 degree Celsius and is there something else one should look for?

Glad you like the socks! Yes, they can be washed at 40°C, but for the best longevity, we recommend a gentle cycle at 30°C with a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener and tumble drying — air drying flat is best. More information is available here:

The socks have a thicker half terry panel on the shin and sole for added comfort and support. The rest of the sock is made with a lighter knit to provide breathability.
