The Event
A decade of Merino, together
Isobaa turns ten this October, and we'd rather mark it outdoors than anywhere else. We're gathering 30 like-minded walkers for a 10k community hike through the Yorkshire Dales, with our Brand Ambassadors, Richard and Jackie from Early Retirement Wanderlust, leading the way as our "Flock Leaders", setting the pace and sharing what they've learned from a decade on the trail.
Every ticket helps fund the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust's work protecting the landscape we'll be walking through. Bring your boots, your merino layers, and a bit of curiosity: there's a ten-stop photo trail with prizes along the way, and a proper sit-down lunch waiting at the finish.

Need To Know
The practical bits
You'll get an automated confirmation email with a link to a short form covering your lunch choice, any allergies or dietary needs, and whether you'd like to join the event WhatsApp group. Please complete this within 48 hours.
Proper walking boots or shoes with ankle support, a waterproof jacket, water, and any personal medication. We may have to turn away anyone who isn't dressed for hill walking.
If the Met Office issues a severe weather warning, we'll postpone or cancel and be in touch by email or phone as early as possible, with a new date or a full refund.
We're keeping the exact meeting point under wraps until closer to the day. Ticket holders will get the full location and itinerary by email.
We've got a fun challenge planned for the day with Isobaa prizes up for grabs. We'll share how it works in the event WhatsApp group closer to the date, so keep an eye out.
Sadly, we're not able to host under 18's for the event, however the follow-up form will ask if you have children in the Isobaa kids' range, so we can personalise your goodie bag, and you can bring back a little something for them.
We ask that dogs are left at home for this one. With 30 walkers already on the trail, keeping pets out helps us manage the group safely and stay on schedule.
We'll be capturing photos and video throughout the day for Isobaa's marketing and social channels. If you'd rather not appear, just let a supervisor know on the morning.

Isobaa 10th Birthday Event Terms & Conditions
- 1. Event Overview & Ticket Sales
- 1.1. The "Isobaa 10th Birthday 10k Hike" ("the Event") is organised and hosted by Isobaa Ltd ("Isobaa", "we", "us").
- 1.2. Tickets are capped at a maximum capacity of 30 participants.
- 1.3. A maximum of two (2) tickets may be purchased per transaction.
- 1.4. Tickets are priced at £30 per person. A portion of every ticket sold will be donated directly to our event charity partner, the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) (Registered Charity No. 1061687).
- 2. Refunds, Cancellations & Ticket Transfers
- 2.1. In accordance with UK event ticketing regulations, all ticket purchases are strictly non-refundable.
- 2.2. Tickets are strictly tied to the named purchaser. You may not resell or transfer your ticket to another individual without obtaining written approval from the Isobaa event team (contact: info@isobaa.com) prior to 6th September 2026.
- 2.3. If Isobaa is forced to postpone or cancel the Event due to severe weather warnings (e.g., Met Office amber/red weather alerts), dangerous trail conditions, or force majeure, attendees will be notified via email as early as possible and provided with a rescheduled date or a full refund. Isobaa is not responsible for non-refundable personal travel or accommodation costs booked by attendees.
- 3. Participant Health, Fitness & Safety
- 3.1. The Event involves a 10km outdoor walk across rural, multi-terrain landscapes in the Yorkshire Dales National Park (including uneven ground, steep gradients, long steps and exposed trails).
- 3.2. Participants are responsible for ensuring they possess a suitable level of health and physical fitness to complete the route safely.
- 3.3. The walk will be guided by certified Mountain Leader Eva Outram alongside Isobaa Brand Ambassadors and representatives. Participants must follow all safety instructions given by the Mountain Leader and Isobaa supervisors at all times.
- 3.4. Participants must wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear (e.g., waterproof jacket, sturdy hiking boots/shoes with ankle support) and bring necessary personal equipment (water, personal medication, sun protection). Isobaa reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who arrives inappropriately equipped for hill walking.
- 4. Mandatory Post-Purchase Booking Form & Dietary Info
- 4.1. Upon ticket purchase, you will receive an automated booking confirmation containing a link to a Mandatory Attendee Form.
- 4.2. This form must be completed within 48 hours of purchase, confirm your attendance for lunch at Beck Hall Malham after the walk and a follow up email closer to the event date will ask you to declare any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions.
- 4.3. While Beck Hall Malham will take precautions regarding food prep, Isobaa cannot take direct liability for allergen cross-contamination at third-party venues.
- 5. Media, Photography & Filming Waiver
- 5.1. By attending the Event, you acknowledge that Isobaa, its ambassadors, and brand partners will be capturing high-resolution photography, video footage, and social media content throughout the day.
- 5.2. You grant Isobaa a royalty-free, perpetual license to use any photography or video captured during the Event containing your likeness for marketing, promotional campaigns, website content, and social media channels.
- (Note: If you do not wish to appear in promotional media, please inform the Isobaa event supervisors on the morning of the event.)
- 6. Limitation of Liability
- 6.1. Participation in outdoor hill walking carries inherent risks. Except in the case of personal injury or death caused by Isobaa’s direct negligence, Isobaa, its employees, Mountain Leaders, and brand partners accept no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the Event.
- 6.2. Participants are advised to hold their own personal accident/travel insurance if desired.
- 7. Event WhatsApp Community Group
- 7.1. Joining the official Isobaa Event WhatsApp group is entirely optional. You are under no obligation to join to attend the Event or receive key event communications.
- 7.2. By choosing to click the link and join the WhatsApp group, you acknowledge that WhatsApp is an end-to-end encrypted third-party platform operated by Meta. You accept that your phone number, WhatsApp profile name, and profile photo will be visible to all other participants in the group.
- 7.3. Isobaa acts as the group administrator. The group is provided solely for event logistics, travel coordination, and friendly community conversation surrounding the 10k hike.
- 7.4. Members are expected to communicate respectfully. Isobaa reserves the right to immediately remove any participant from the WhatsApp group who posts inappropriate, promotional, or offensive content, or who contacts other group members privately without their consent.
- 7.5. You may leave the WhatsApp group at any time via the app settings.
